CAPTURING LIGHT, FEELINGS & MOMENTS AND ALL THE THINGS IN BETWEEN PEOPLE AND LIFE.
Hiiiii! I’m Karissah, though most know me as Kissie — and I capture the kinds of moments you don’t realize you’ll want forever… until suddenly you do.
I’m a natural-light enthusiast with a soft spot for unguarded moments—the belly laughs, the warm glances, the “this right here” kind of magic. My favorite photos aren’t perfect; they’re alive. They’re the ones where you relax into yourself and forget the camera is even there.
My heart thrives in the honest, simple things— Quiet autumn days, light filtering through trees, golden light that hits just right, windows-down backroad drives with Mike, and all those blink-and-you-miss-them moments that somehow become your favorites. And then there’s the chaotic comedic brilliance of Groomer—my dog, my muse, my best friend, and the star of an alarmingly large portion of my camera roll.
I’m all about good books, cheesy tacos, cozy sweatshirts, and heart-shaped sunnies. I’m a sucker for laugh-until-you-can’t-breathe moments, warm chocolate chip cookies, handwritten notes tucked inside cards, espresso martinis, and sentimental gifts that say everything without speaking. Oh… and singing like no one is listening? Always. It’s practically a sport.
I live for a good winter sunset and when the season settles in, you’ll find me snowmobiling through the beautiful Maine woods, breathing in the kind of peace only a quiet trail and the thrum of the machine beneath me can offer. These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do—why I chase beauty that’s real, unposed, raw and whole.
Through all of it, I’ve learned this: life is fragile. The best memories sneak up on us; They’re small, fleeting, messy, beautiful, and entirely worth holding onto. And that’s where I come in.
In front of my lens, perfection doesn’t matter and you don’t have to perform. You only have to be. Your connection, your laughter, your quiet magic, your chaos, your real story—it all belongs. I guide, I observe, and I give you space to breathe. The result? Images that feel warm, alive, and honest—like stepping back into the moment itself, a memory you can feel with your whole chest.
If you’re longing for images that hold emotion… that breathe… that tell the truth of who you are and who you love—then welcome. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
Let’s create something unforgettable. Something your future self will be thankful to hold close. Something that feels like home.
I can’t wait to tell your story.
PHOTOGRAPHY IS PUTTING ONE'S EYE AND ONE'S HEART ON THE SAME AXIS

What I most like about photography is the moment that you can't anticipate:
you have to be constantly watching for it, ready to welcome the unexpected.

I live for those "oh my goodness" moments when life swallows me whole and I am engulfed in awe by the beauty of simplicity.
My belief is that every person should be framed in the moments they’ve felt the most loved and cared for.
